Addie Schafer Benko, artistic director of Creative Stages, is a Virginia Educator who has directed theatre and taught in K-12 classrooms for 6 years in Loudoun County. Addie received her Master's in Education as well as BA in English and Theatre from the College of William and Mary. Addie is also a National Geographic Educator and was a 2019 fellow. Addie was a Fulbright Teacher in 2015 in Malaysia. She travels and teaches English as well as arts skills nationally as well as internationally. She has accepted an Executive Director position with Virginia Thespians and will help with Broadway Bound summer camps as the Assistant Artistic Director. She is excited to be a part of RRPA and the talented staff as well as campers to contribute to the summer productions.
