Mr. Cimino-Johnson received his Master of Arts from New York University in Drama Therapy and his Bachelors of Arts in Theatre Arts with a minor in Psychology from McDaniel College. Over the past seven years, Mr. Cimino-Johnson has utilized theatre as a vehicle for self-expression, while creating a safe space for a diverse group of students within the academic venue. Mr. CJ founded Rock Ridge Performing Arts at Rock Ridge High School. Over 20% of the school is engaged in the theatre program. Additionally, in 2015, his production of "Ernest and the Pale Moon" won the Virginia Theatre Association State Festival and the South Eastern Theatre Conference in 2016. In 2016, Mr. CJ received International Inspirational Theatre Educator of the Year for 2016, and Virginia's Theatre Teacher of the Year from the Educational Theatre Association in 2017.

Miss Hess joined Rock Ridge Performing Arts for its inaugural season as a member of the audition panel for The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. She continued her involvement with Rock Ridge as a choreographer and member of the directing team for Beauty and the Beast and The Little Mermaid and as a member of the audition panel for the main stage productions. In the fall of 2016 Miss Hess joined the Fine Arts department as a full-time theater teacher, teaching both acting and technical theater classes. She oversees the costume, hair, make-up, and props design teams.

Addie Schafer Benko is a Virginia Educator who has directed theatre and taught in K-12 classrooms for the last 6 years in Loudoun County. Addie received her Master's in Education as well as BA in English and Theatre from the College of William and Mary. Addie is also a National Geographic Educator and was a 2019 fellow. Addie was a Fulbright Teacher in 2015 in Malaysia. She travels and teaches English as well as arts skills nationally as well as internationally. She has accepted an Executive Director position with Virginia Thespians and will help with Broadway Bound summer camps as the Assistant Artistic Director. She is excited to join RRPA and the talented staff as well as campers to contribute to the summer productions.

Farley is a current BFA Acting major at Oklahoma City University. He graduated from Rock Ridge in 2020 having played the roles of Peter Pan (Peter Pan: A Steampunk Adventure), Shrek (Shrek The Musical), Mr. Hart (9 to 5), and more. He's had a joy working with all the campers and can't wait for you to see the culmination of their hard work! ​

Mrs. Ratcliff is so excited to teach Broadway Bound Kids this year!  Mrs. Ratcliff has taught 6 years at Newton-Lee and in Loudoun County.  Mrs. Ratcliff earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from Florida State University in 2014 and her Masters of Music Education with a concentration in Orff Schulwerk from George Mason University in 2018.
 
 Mrs. Ratcliff studied the Orff Schulwerk approach to music education through AOSA (American Orff Schulwerk Association) and the Mason Academy of the Arts. She earned her Orff Schulwerk certification in the summer of 2017 after completing all three levels of training.  She combines music, movement, drama, and speech into lessons that are similar to a child's world of play.  She focuses on student driven instruction and incorporates individual and group improvisation experiences.

Ann Devine graduated from CAP 21 Musical Theatre Conservatory (NYC) in 2018 with a BFA in Musical Theatre/ Theatre Arts and is now in the process of receiving her masters degree at UMBC. This is Ann's 5th summer with Rock Ridge Performing Arts! In addition to being a performer herself she teaches music and ballet to children as well as theatre to students of all ages. Once Ann completes her masters degree next spring she hopes to teach theatre full time! ​

Chelsea dePaula is a performer and instructor whose passion is discovering other people's strengths and creating opportunities for them to meet their potential. She earned her BFA in Dance from Texas State University and has performed in various productions across the UK and USA. Chelsea is currently pursuing a M.Ed. in Talent Development and Exercise Sport Science, and trains with The Broadway Collective, an elite musical theatre academy. When she isn't coaching dancers and actors in San Antonio, Texas, she can be found kayaking or cheering on the Spurs basketball team. Chelsea is excited to share her knowledge and coach musical theatre students with RRPA!

This is his fifth Broadway Bound summer camp as the Technical Director. The best part of these camps is working with students to create art that tells a story, and brings more hope, joy , and love into the world. We work hard, laugh a lot, and come together to build beautiful things. ​​​Mr. Markwood has a bachelor of music from Houghton College in Music Education with a concentration in voice. He graduated from Westminster Choir College of Rider University with a master of music in Vocal Pedagogy and Performance. He performed in several operas at Houghton College and was invited to the New York Vocal Institute on a full scholarship in 2006. He served as the director for a youth mission choir known as the Voices of Youth in the summer of 2010 and assistant director in 2004 and 2007. Mr. Markwood directed the Shenandoah Valley Chorus, a chapter of the Sweet Adelines in Winchester, VA from 2007-2013. He teaches private voice lessons and continued his own choral studies by assisting as the Tenor section leader in the Arts Chorale of Winchester and Vocal Consort from 2008-2014. In addition, Mr. Markwood served as the Worship Arts Coordinator at Round Hill United Methodist Church in Winchester, VA from 2007-2014.  He is now the Director of Music at Galilee UMC in Sterling, VA.

Lauren is a current junior at Ohio University pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theater. She is also a proud RRPA alum, having appeared as Margo in "Bright Star", Violet in "9 to 5", Wednesday Addams in "The Addams Family", and Kala in "Tarzan: The Musical." This is her sixth year participating in Broadway Bound, and she couldn’t be more excited to see how both old and new campers will grow this summer!

Elle began her performing arts journey as a dancer. As a classical and contemporary dancer at Ashburn Academy of Dance, Elle became interested in Musical Theatre after training with Broadway choreographer and director, Lisa Stevens and her Broadway Bound Intensive Workshops. Joining RRPA the Spring of her freshman year, Elle has collaborated in and solely choreographed several dance numbers in Legally Blonde, The Musical, Newsies, RENT, High School Musical 2, and Peter Pan, A Steampunk Adventure. You may have also seen her as Katherine in Newsies, and Gabriella in High School Musical 2. This fall Elle will enter her first year at Wagner College in Staten Island, NY studying Theatre Performance and minoring in Dance. She is thrilled to be part of the amazing and talented Moana, Jr. Staff.

Ryan is entering his sophomore year at Northwestern University, pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies and Asian American Studies and a minor in Theatre. A graduate of RRPA, he has been involved in various RRPA productions as a performer, designer, and director. At Northwestern, he has been involved as an assistant producer of Spectrum and The Dolphin Show, the largest studentproduced musical in the country, a member of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, and a gymnastics coach at the Chandler Newberger Community Center. He is so excited to return to Broadway Bound and work with the kids and team!​

Shreya is entering her sophomore year at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts (UNCSA) where she is working towards a BFA in Acting. Shreya joined RRPA in the spring of her freshman year. Through the next 4 years, she was a part of RRPA and played the roles of Mary Poppins (Mary Poppins) and Alice Murphy (Bright Star: School Edition). She has previously worked as an Assistant Choreographer at RRPA’s Broadway Bound summer camp and is so excited to have another incredible summer with the campers!!

STEPHANIE CARLOCK (Vocal Director) ) is thrilled to be back with Rock Ridge Performing Arts, having served as a vocal director since the beginning of Broadway Bound. Ms. Carlock graduated from University of Delaware with a Bachelors in Music Education with a concentration in voice and euphonium. She received her Masters of Music Education from the University of Florida and teaches orchestra in Harford County, Maryland. Ms. Carlock has been the musical director for numerous productions and plays piano frequently in pit orchestras at schools and community theaters. She is also a member of the board of directors for Tidewater Players. ​

Katie is a rising Sophomore studying Musical Theatre at Molloy College/CAP21. She was a member of RRPA from her freshman year all the way through her senior year, performing and being a designer for over 20 productions. Katie lead the marketing team, served on the student board in many different roles, and choreographed. She enjoyed choreographing at all three Broadway Bound camps last year, and is so excited to join the Moana Jr. family this summer!

Andrew is a 3rd year student at University of Michigan pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting with a double minor in Arts Management & Sociology. His recent credits include Simon in Lord of the Flies and Gregory in Romeo & Juliet at the University of Michigan. While in RRPA, you may have seen him as Donkey in Shrek and Daryl in Bright Star. Tommy is an avid performer and lover of the arts. Having been raised in Vermont, he has sung in honors choirs all across New England and even down the east coast. In the theatre he has performed frequently in New York, New Hampshire, Vermont, and now Ohio! Some of his favorite roles that he’s played have been: Bobby Child (Crazy For You), Princeton (Avenue Q), Laurie (Little Women), and most recently Melchior (Spring Awakening). Currently, he is pursuing his BFA in Musical Theatre at Ohio University. He is really excited to be here teaching for the summer!​

A rising 3rd year at Ohio University, he has been in a variety of staged shows like "Angels in America", and a workshop musical called "Eighty-Sixed". He loves to spend his time creating story. He loves to tell stories and utilize this love in his long running Dungeons & Dragons game with friends at college. He looks forward to working with your children on the musical "Moana, Jr."

Courtney Bergeron is a rising freshman at Virginia Tech where she will study fashion merchandising and design. She was apart of RRPA for 4 years and was involved in various aspects, including acting, costume design, build crew, and directing. Noam Denenberg is a rising senior at the College-Conservatory of Music at the University of Cincinnati, studying to receive his BFA in Scenic Design. For the past 7 years, Noam has designed and assisted on numerous productions, receiving various recognitions and awards for his work. Noam has been a part of Broadway Bound since its inception and is looking forward to another year of creating memories, continuing to share his love for design, and hopefully inspiring the next generation of artists!

Meghan Emanuel is a recent graduate of the University of Cincinnati’s College Conservatory of Music (CCM) with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Stage Management. She is also a RRPA alumna and graduated in 2017. She is very excited to return to Broadway Bound for her second year as Production Manager. In her spare time she likes to bake, listen to audiobooks, and spend time with her family and cat. ​
